Adult day care

Has anyone had any experience with Lewinsville Adult Day Health Care or Herndon Harbor Adult Day Health Care?
If so, please tell me all about. We are looking in to places for someone with Alzheimer’s to get some social stimulation out of the house while giving their caregiver a break.
Also, any other ideas are welcome.

Lewinsville was wonderful! They let us do a visit first during maybe coffee and tea or lunch and we shared info about our LO so they could introduce some people. It added some excitement to our LO's day. Took a few weeks for a LO to fully appreciate it and not complain, then our LO didn't want to leave at pick up!

When you look at it keep an open mind. Your parent or whoever isn't the same person and it's easy to go into denial. The social stimulation is great for them and the staff there try to make the holidays extra fun.
