Online Language Programs

Have any of your students supplemented college language classes with a program like Rosetta Stone or Babbell? DC looking for one that has a placement test and will work for grammar more than speaking and listening. Any recommendations.

You might want to look into an online tutor via Preply? I wouldn't imagine there'd be a placement test since you're working one-on-one, but you can usually find one online (e.g. at Alliance Francaise for French, Cervantes for Spanish etc.).

Online classes OTOH -- I have found Alliance Francaise super helpful and you can jump into an online class "hosted" by locations worldwide -- that will work with any schedule. And one of my kids is supplementing college Italian at the moment, by taking an online weekend class in which there are only two students. I think the school is in NY.
