we all have the internet. we all get the alerts.

Thank you, OP. My child has graduated so I don't get the alerts. I still like to know what is happening so I can plan my morning. I appreciate the post here.

Slow clap for Thomas Taylor for letting child care open. It must be hard for him to set aside his hatred and disdain for working moms of young children (e.g. many of his own employees), but he did it. Thanks to whoever on the BOE gave him an earful about this, but if your last name is Yang or Silvestre I am still not voting for you and I'm still telling everyone I know not to vote for you.

Just stop. He admitted he messed up. You are awfully dramatic.

What kind of person prohibits child care from opening in time for his own employees to get to work? Someone who thinks mothers of young children should not work outside the home.

No he didn't. He subtly blame it on the person who sent out the announcement. Even more disgusting.

What do you need to plan for if you don’t have a kid in MCPS?

I will take any delay for a chance for my kid to get some extra sleep.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center follows MCPS and I don't always realize my program will be cancelled. It starts at 6:30 AM so it looks like it won't run tomorrow.

However, I checked MCPS home page and don't see a delay announcement. Is there a link to a reliable source?

Yang isn't running for BOE again. Or did she change her mind? She was planning to run for county Council tho at some point
