The rotating cast of characters in Central Office leadership continues under Taylor's watch. For the people who thought Taylor would be a source of stability and competence for our school system in ways that McKnight wasn't, that clearly isn't the case if his own hand-picked HR chief can't last more than 6 months under his leadership. What a mess! |

Anyone know why? She started shortly before the background check report so that scandal wasn’t on her watch.
|
Wasn’t that on April Key’s watch or partially on her watch? Somehow she still has a job with MCPS. |
Which must mean, shockingly, that Connally was somehow worse than April Key. |
Not a chance. Nobody could be worse than April Key. She probably left because she quickly saw what a dysfunctional and horrible place MCPS is. People at that level have options and don't need to stick around dealing with BS. |
Connally did NOT leave. She was asked to leave. |
Why? And how do you know? |
Cause I'm on the inside. |
Or perhaps Connally pushed back at Taylor on something and found herself on the losing side of that discussion. |
Good luck to you. I know you are keeping your head down. |
+1. Perhaps she is doing better in her new position than she was in her HR position? |
Perhaps. Taylor is diabolically vengeful and calculating. It's just surprising he did this to Connally since he lured her here. |
Hires from outside the district often have a difficult time mastering the MCPS system. She may not have had the experience to handle this complex department, and may not have been set up for success and likely was undermined by the vets. |

Reminds me of Patrick Murphy.
Mcps has a pattern of making someone new be their scapegoat… |
She does not seem to be but that’s only secondhand information |
