| I didn’t |
| Nope. I had to use all my PTO and then LWOP for the rest. |
|
DH worked and was paid, because that's how his contract ran.
In the past he has been benched and paid. Most large companies can afford it (whether or not they choose to). |
| It depends on the contract. |
| Depends on if the contract was prefunded. My spouse did not and they don't get PTO, just billable hours so we were out of luck. |
| No signs in people's lawns supporting them or free lunches either. |
| No. And this varies by contract, but in our case we are not allowed to work any extra hours to make up for time we missed. |
| No. Had to take PTO or LWOP. |
| Outs got paid during the shutdown and took advantage of all free meals offered. We still haven’t even been paid despite working everyday. |
+1. Some of my work was stopped but some wasn't. I did billable work when I could and took some LWOP. Never going to see that money, so my income this year will be significantly less than last year thanks to program/contract cuts and the shutdown. |
| No and that's okay |
| Depends on the contract. DH worked right through and got paid. Others in his office were furloughed without pay. |
