Garrison ES : Apollo After School

| We are zoned to Garrison ES and our DD will start PK3 there next fall assuming the lottery works out (fingers crossed). Does anyone have insight regarding the Apollo After School program there? Trying to figure out how much we’d be paying, if folks have had good experiences, and alternative after-school care options in the neighborhood. Thanks in advance! |

| Garrison kids can also access the JCC afterschool programs, which include stuff like swimming, chess, musical theater, robotics, art, science and karate. Staff pick up at Garrison though the walk may be too long for PreK-3er's little legs. |

We've had a great experience with Apollo for PK3 and PK4 at Garrison. it's not uber-fancy, but our kid likes the teachers, is with the majority of their classmates, has fun, and sometimes even complains when we pick them up too early, lol. A majority of kids at Garrison do some form of the aftercare.
It's about $430 per month and runs from 3:15 til 6pm, unless your child qualifies for free tuition or a reduced rate. Fingers crossed the lottery works out for you; Garrison is a wonderful school community. |
