How many pizza needed?

Large pizza has 8 slices. We will have drink, cookie and cupcake. How many pizzas should we order for 16 kids (9 to 11 years old) plus like maybe 7 adults for a party 3pm to 5pm?

I'd get 3 slices per person, maybe 2 for some. Have some fruit or veggies and maybe sandwiches or something else for the parents.

My guess is parents will not eat much pizza mid afternoon. I would do 5 pizzas for the kids and 2 more for adults

It depends on the pizza. Most parties don't order enough and adults wait till the kids are done. Put on the invitation food served.

Six total
3 cheese
2 meats
1 vegetables

I plan on 2-3 slices per person depending on age of kids and other stuff available. 3 large pizzas would be 24 slices and you have 23 people. So 8-9 pizzas.

4 and you will have 1 leftover if they are big pizzas not like dominos or papa John’s.

I’d be thinking the kids will go through 4, and the adults 2. And then extra as cushion. I’d probably just go with 7 or 8. But you will probably have a lot of leftovers. Especially is the party is mostly girls and/or women. But I’d be mortified to run low on food.

I would do one slice per kid and two slices for adults. Plus one extra pie so I’d do 5

I'd do three pies and ask the place to double-slice them so each pie has 16 slices, not 8. The party is between meal times so adults won't eat.

Eek. Please don’t host parties.

6-7 if they are the really large pizzas from a local place. 8-9 if you are ordering from a chain place like Papa John’s. Those are smaller. Big size difference between the two IME.

The adults probably won’t eat much, if at all.

I’d rather order too much than worry about running out.

The party is at an odd time to feed people dinner.

I would eat from 4-5 (end of the party).

I figured 2.5 slices per person. 7 pizzas would be okay. 6 if you think people will only want 2. If you have some sides, you can have less pizza. Like a bowl of mandarins/tangerines. Or maybe a veggie tray.

Kids like cheese. Some won't eat pepperoni. I don't know any kids who like veggie only pizza. I hated green (bell) peppers when I was little. Other kids hate olives, mushrooms, broccoli, etc.
