Recent military school recommendations?

I'm looking at military schools for my 16 year old son. He is not keeping up with school work, refusing to wake up in the mornings for school, cursing non stop at my wife and me. We have disciplined him non stop but it is like logic has no reason. He will just skip a class and come home - not to do anything and be surprised he gets privileges taken away.
I saw that in the past 3-5 years, Fishburne's online reviews have gone down due to change in management. Does anyone have a child or know of someone that attends Fishburne today and can provide any insight? One review said there were a lot of substance usage, bullying, etc going on there. Fork Union had better reviews it seems in recent years. Anyone with someone they know at Fork Union currently that can provide any reviews? Any other military school that people can recommend? I'm looking for discipline and structure for my son. Thanks |

| You should first address the ADHD before sending him somewhere to be physically and psychologically abused. |

| You may want to consider some therapeutic intervention instead of military school. It sounds like he might be struggling with something. Military school provides lots of structure but not much support for things like that. |

+1 I get that he is acting out in ways that you and your spouse are unequipped to handle. You need to get help and address his underlying issues and needs before sending him to a military school. |

| At least look into Randolph-Macon Academy, but agree with others that military school is not a silver bullet for what is described. |
