More likely that he was not offered a contract extension. The language in the notification letter opaquely referred to not being able to make a long-term commitment as the catalyst, which rings absurd.

Sue is very competent. Not the most dynamic but she is competent and knows what she's doing.

She isn't to blame for NCS culture that's been in place for decades. She just kept the boat afloat for 2 years between permanent heads but they turned out to be the Covid years (2019-2021).
