Last periods - worse than usual?

| Super heavy bleeding for 2 straight weeks - turned out to be fibroids. Long story short, on progesterone for a couple months, then mini pill for 18ish months, now in full menopause |

During perimenopause I had heavy periods with huge clots, got very anemic every month for a couple of years.
By the end of things, my final periods were spotting that lasted only one day. The last three years before menopause I had gone 11 months then got the period for a day, and repeated that twice more. Grrrr! I was excited to finally be done. Today I was at the grocery store and found myself turned down the wrong aisle with all the pads and incontinence products from birth to death and I thought to myself how glad I am to be in a chapter where I don’t currently need any of those products. I hope this chapter lasts a while! |
