| When are they coming out? When do colleges announce the dates? Hard to wait. |
|
This is the best website to track them:
https://www.applyingto.college/decision-calendar The big ones (Ivies, etc) are generally around Dec 12-15. |
You can easily find the date for your kids ED school on the schools site. Or better yet, ask your kid to do so. Mine put the date in their phone calendar to make a point of keeping track of the day. |
You have a very cool kid if they need to put the date in the calendar not to forget. Well done! |
They’re swamped. Period. |
This website sucks. Doesn't include a lot of schools and is not well organized. |
Check the website of the college your kid applied to. The one we are waiting on said mid December. |
they'll add them all in. It was fantastic last year especially for the RD dates because those stretch out endlessly. |
Seriously? At most, your kid applied to one ED school. Look it up. |
Really? You think kids who ED’ed would just forget (and the safety net of a portal update email will not be seen)? It’s like needing to write down ED due date 11/1/25…no? |
Yale is 12/17 again this year. |
| Two years ago my DC’s ED school gave a specific date and time - 12/15 @ 3:30 PM. DC logged in and got the acceptance in class. This year the school my other DC applied to ED just says “mid-December” which seems impossibly vague by comparison. |
| Michigan ED says “by December 24th.” Surely they won’t release on Christmas Eve, right? |
| Last year, Penn was the last ivy to release...I think it was Dec 19 last year? Very stressful wait, but had a positive and happy outcome so cannot complain. |
Schools often give more detailed information later. They’re still trying to get a handle on the workload, so it’s too early for most to be specific yet. |
