Mine was a sumptuous pair of silk pajamas for like $50. So comfy and nice, especially on gloomy days !
|
| Can you actually get real deals at these stores anymore? I thought the merchandise was basically manufactured for them now. The same with a vast majority of factory stores. |
| Which location? |
| Gucci bag |
This. There are no 'scores' at these stores; haven't been for 20 years. Whatever you're finding there, even the 'one of a kinds", can be bought on nordstromrack.com or bluefly etc. But sometimes I find a nice item that I like. It's just that I'm aware the pricing is appropriate for what I'm buying. |
| I don’t worry about pricing, I just spend minimal time shopping for specifically the things I need/want. I don’t look for “sales” beyond what shows up quickly for the thing I need and I think I end up spending less overall than when I used to go shopping in discount stores. |
| It’s a lot of crap and rarely a good find. I find the housewares section sometimes I just need dish towels, a spatula and socks and I want to go to one store, it’s cheaper than target. |
|
I go there for one specific face cream and cheap home decor. I do like men's t-shirt for me, but I have plenty now.
A navy linen button down midi dress is my best find. Now I have to lose 20 pounds to fit into it. The underwear and socks are all polyester. All gold jewelry there has been so low quality, that my ears bleed. |

Saks Off Fifth. It was a designer trunk sale return. I kept the receipt and look at it from time to time:
SFA Designer Market price: $3,500 I got it for $49.97! Love seeing "Savings $3850.03" on the receipt. |
| last week I bought an Athleta quarter zip for $17. It retails, currently, for $99. |
| I get my DH Peter Millar polos there sometimes. Otherwise I’m just going there for cute cheap stuff that I don’t need to be good quality (like a top I might wear one season). It’s great for that. |
|
Nordstrom Rack currently has 40x beaver hats from Bailey on sale for $189.
I got some decent Burberry boots from Jomashop for like 90% off list. |
| Long time ago they carried high quality children's clothing, as did Marshall's. I used to pick up beautiful little smocked dresses, beautiful little shoes, and the like. I spotted the same clothing brands selling for hundreds at high end boutiques. |
| I don't shop there anymore because these days those stores are like bazaars with people shoving past each other and rude staff. It's nasty. No thank you. |
Factory stores are different. Outlets are often factory stores in disguise. TJ Maxx is a mix of leftover junk and some non leftover stuff to make the store not feel like a total waste |
