Do you think Glen Powell has promise as a movie star?

Hollywood and the media seems to be pushing him hard. He stars in "The Running Man," "Twisters," "Top Gun: Maverick," "Set It Up," etc.

The only movie I liked him in was Top Gun Maverick. He’s been unwatchable for me in everything else.

I'm impressed how he can easily switch from being likable to being a total prick in roles.

I'm not usually one to criticize actors' appearance, but...

The bottom half of Glen Powell's face is so bizarrely triangular that I can't think of anything else when I see him.

I can't stand to look at him.

He’s cute but not sure he has the “it factor” to become a superstar like Brad Pitt, Clooney, etc., not sure it’s feasible to have big superstars in today’s HW.

Nah he’s too goofy in a cringe way. Not saying he’s a bad person but definitely not a movie star.

There are no movie stars anymore. Tom cruise was the last one

By today’s standards, he’s already there.

I think he’s good, not great. He picks very diverse rolls, and imo, is better at comedy, ala Ryan Reynolds.
And I love how he is close to his family and has his parents in his movies.
He made the decision to put his career before his girlfriend (SS drama) and lost her.
He must really want it.

He's great in Chad Powers, I haven't seen his movies.
