Any big signings yesterday out of the DMV clubs for girls going D1 next year?

Did SYC sign anyone? It’s surprising some clubs seem to not sign anyone. Maybe they did, although they post a lot, they didn’t post any signings. We’re in the U littles now but I’m not sure if they had any players sign.

Why do you can crap all over what someone else thinks is big?

Wasn't the point to the post, but thanks for being sensitive. Simply wondering how clubs did on signing day. Any big, medium, small signings?

You talking committing to attend a college and maybe play or walk on the schools soccer team OR getting a full or partial sports scholarship. Define signing please. If signing means enrollment acceptance with financial aid congrats, getting a sports scholarship different story.

Signing day is when players sign their letter of intent to play for their college. Just because you don’t know what it is doesn’t mean it’s a bad post.

Signing means commitment to join a college team. The coach recruited you and made an offer and you accepted. All of the commits that local clubs just posted are these. Signing day was when the athlete signs their letter of intent accepting the offer to play. They already had made verbal commitments and this makes it official. All of this happens whether you get a full, partial, or no scholarship. Signing has nothing to do with financials. There is a signing day for all athletes to accept their offers.

General acceptance to college for non-athletes hasn’t happened yet for most school. Acceptance notifications happen all on the same day usually in Feb-March.

Are we not celebrating athletes committing to the ivies because they didn’t get a sports scholarship?

Congratulations to all the athletes signing their letter of intent, D1-D3, scholarship or not. It is a very exciting time in life.

If you can’t figure out what signing with a team means you should probably refrain from posting. Signing with any team is a huge accomplishment. Some sign to the best soccer schools they can get, some sign to the best academic schools they can get. All accomplished more than you.

and most end up getting cut or never playing. Unless the kid is getting D1 money those posts are not the flex the clubs want you to believe.

We all noticed you didn’t refute that they all accomplished more than you, or really anything else for that matter. Go roll around in some more horse $h|t. Stop being dismissive of girls realizing the results of hard work.

Most end up getting cut or quitting? So you’re saying more players quit or don’t play than not? What an idiot.
