CBT-I for insomnia providers

Anonymous
17 year old DD had a sleep study for insomnia and night waking and they recommended CBT-I. I am hoping to do it virtually, and covered by insurance if possible. Does anyone know how to find this?

I don't know but I recently listened to this podcast about CBT-I and it was so helpful and they mentioned some list that might be linked on this page too

My son also struggled with insomnia. He used the CBT-I Coach app, on his counselor’s recommendation, because we could not find a provider. It was very helpful.

If you live in DC, Maryland or Virginia, you can see any psychologist virtually who is licensed via Psypact - so you are not limited to your state. (This is only for psychologists, not therapists with other licensures.)

My 21yo college daughter is also very much struggling with insomnia and disordered sleep. Where did your daughter do her sleep study?

I went to a CBTI provider and the app was more helpful than the provider. Essentially they just limited the hours I could sleep. I did not comply and am a CBTI dropout as I found myself so tired driving my kids around it didn't feel safe.

Neurofeedback worked wonders for my son’s insomnia. If CBTI doesn’t work, you may look into neuro.
