Spooky?

Going through family documents tonight. There was no reason I had to do it this evening. Nothing urgent summoning me.

Looking at a death certificate I found...my grandfather had an aunt who died 100 years ago tomorrow. She was 6, playing with a bonfire and burned.

I have to believe this was my ancestors from the great beyond or something. Just seems strange I'd feel the urge to do this tonight.

That’s a sad story but it doesn’t sound spooky. 1/365 % chance.

Many cultures talk about a thinning of the barrier between the dead and the alive this time of year (e.g. day of the dead, all Hallows eve, Halloween, dia de los muertos).

It would be beautiful for you to honor her on that day some way. You could put out some marigolds and tell some living loved ones about what you found of her story and also talk about other loved ones who have passed.

Be very careful of fire. Check your furnace, fire places, wiring or anything that could create a fire hazard because it could have been a message from the beyond.. actually you should check these annually.
