Breast Implants for 19 Year Old Daughter

Daughter wants implants. She's flat. She has her own money that she earned. Wife says no. She thinks that this will lead to a life of never being satisfied with her looks and just needs to get over it. I support it. What are your thoughts? If you would support it, how do you get wife or significant other to support it?

Team wife. There's a good chance she isn't even done developing, yet. A lot of surgeons would suggest she just wear a padded bra instead of subjecting herself to something that would not look or feel right when she's older.

Anyway. When I had my baby girl, I told my MIl that it was so cute my baby had her nose. MIL said "that's not my nose; I got mine chopped off when I was 19". I had no idea what to say to that. FF, my 12 yr old has her grandmother's...new nose. No idea how.

Wow. I swear my son has my new nose (got surgery at age 18). It doesn't look like anyone else's and it looks just like my new one. Hearing this makes me think maybe there is something to epigenetics?

No on boob job. She will probably develop more, and if she takes birth control pills they will also get bigger. Maybe recommend that.

Why would you support your daughter doing that if your own wife doesnt? What kind of terrible parenting did you do to give her such awful self esteem?

I feel like this is the daughter's decision, but it would be nice to have the parents' support. Even if she is paying for it by herself, the recovery won't be easy.
