What time do you think we'll have the greatest chance?
Think I could see them from my north-facing home in Alexandria? |
| Went out yesterday around 8:20 to 840 and I never saw them but people were posting pictures. I’d like to get the timing down right today to see them too. |
| I’m from another state, but was able to see them last night by taking pictures with my iphone. You couldn’t see it with the naked eye, but the camera picked it up. Very cool! |
| Most people are posting fake A.I. pictures to one-up each other. |

I saw pictures from arizona, as long as there are minimal clouds you might have a good chance. If you can get away from some light pollution you'll have a better chance. Sometimes you cant see it with the naked eye, but your phone will capture it. So even if you cant see with your eyes, try with your phone camera.
I'm in Canada and we had a spectacular show last night, I'm looking forward to tonight

Nothing in Northern Virginia yet.
|
| I’m in another state and we could see them with our eyes (not phone) from our front yard. It was cool. It was interesting how the phone could pick up nuances our eyes could. |
| Anyone see anything in the DMV now? |
| I’m reading nothing until 10pm-2am … I’m waiting from 10-11pm and see what I see. Good luck |
| Alexandria has way too much light pollution we never seen them here. |
Did you see any? |
| Yes, we saw them faintly pink at 10. Not as vibrant as last night, and they disappeared while we were out, but they’re coming and going. McLean |
too much light pollution, I think. I’ll try again tomorrow. |
LED lights have ruined the night skies. |
