Yeah this is a rare issue I agree with Youngkin on. However I think getting it through any legislature, right or left, is extremely unlikely.

The lottery funds schools. I'm fine with uneducated morons funding my kids' education. I don't want casinos in my neighborhood.

But used to fund schools in many states. Ideal? No, but helpful as a revenue source to be sure.

We are not poor and will buy $100 worth of tickets when it gets over a billion. It's no different than blowing it on a dinner or drinks. And the poors can decide how to spend whatever money they have too.

+1 I drive a luxury car and live in N. Arl. We always buy lotto tickets when its high. Its fun.

I think limits are a good idea but how does he propose replacing the revenue?
