How long after Halloween do you leave fall pumpkins/gourds out?

We decorate our front stoop with large gourds and pumpkins for the fall. We put Halloween decor out the day before Halloween and remove it the day after.
Is it too late to still have the gourds/pumpkins out and leave them for Thanksgiving? Will drop at a goat farm the day after Thanksgiving? I'm seeing plenty of others still out in my neighborhood.

If mine were out the squirrels would be chomping on them - but I have a few inside by my fireplace. I think it's a nice festive, fall look. After Tday I'll go full tilt Xmas decor.

Most people leave them out until the week after thanksgiving. Completely appropriate.

Until they rot. Gourds and pumpkins are symbols of fall. It's not associated with a particular holiday.

I take them down around November 30.

I love for mine to be out at Thanksgiving. I don't do scary pumpkins, I do Fall pumpkins. They feel right for Thanksgiving time.

I leave them out till they collapse from the frost, then put them in the backyard for the critters.

There's still Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it

Ditto. Cut pumpkins mold or rot so we give the carved one to the squirrels. They burrow in for seeds, cute. Then we put the remains in the lawn stuff cart. Uncut ones last unless they get chomped. My inside ones are still perfect and I will keep them until Thanksgiving. I have some white ones...am toying with decorating them for Christmas using acrylic paint.

Our uncarved pumpkins last forever. They are still good as we are putting out our Christmas decorations. I've incorporated them in our Christmas decorations by stacking a few by driving rebar through them and adding holiday hats/sunglasses, little ties from Dollar Tree etc. It's silly and makes us laugh.

I'm leaving them out until they start to cave in from rot/frost/whatever. At that point I'll put them out in the woods near our house for the animals.

I just tossed my first rotten pumpkin into the woods. The second pumpkin along with two gourds still decorate my porch.

I've already taken them to the farm not far from my house so the animals can have a treat. They have to go there before they rot (and be uncarved/unpainted).

Our uncut ones have been chomped. I just don't care. Let the creatures have them.
