Pretty, long sleeve tops

Anonymous
I’m getting back into the dating world at 45. Looking for pretty, long sleeve tops. My usual go-tos are JCrew, Anthropology, Boden, or Nordstrom. I’m not seeing anything I like. Looking for something more fashionable or original. Where do you find pretty, feminine long sleeve tops? Willing to spend up to $250 for a top.

I’ve had good luck looking for older Anthro tops on EBay or Poshmark Z

I was on the same quest but struck out. I think the answer is they're not that popular right now.

Doen or Sezane for cotton blouses, Lilysilk for silk blouses

Came here to say Sezane

Sezane

Also Me + Em, but they've upped their price point, so you may want to hold off for sales. Just note that they call their sale section "archives."

Also Veronica Beard and Tanya Taylor have some pretty things

Yes, I think they’re a bit dated. WHBM should have some (go to store for middle aged / older cougars and I’m not saying that rudely)

NP. How on earth are pretty, long sleeve tops "dated"?

No idea, but tell me if you find a good one being sold today that isn’t a sweater or knit. The look now is layers (eg tank and Veronica Beard blazer or cardigan) or knit tops. Those nice long sleeve silk or high quality cotton or satin or whatever tops from the 2010s aren’t in and there’s a reason you aren’t finding any you like - they aren’t really being made.
