He says he wants legos. Ive bought him legos every year since he was 4 years old. I’m thinking it might be nice to branch out.
I’m not getting him a phone. Im looking for something in the $200-$300 range. He likes robotics and has been learning how to code. He likes math. He likes rubix cubes and has a collection of cubes. He likes Star Wars and Manga. |
| Would you give him a robotics class as a gift? |
|
3D printer? Wirecutter recommends the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, which is $200
Or maybe a VR headset. The oculus or PlayStation. |
| You need to buy him a sewing machine. Why not buy him a sewing machine, hmmm ?? |
+100 You buy what asked for legos. Hes giving you the gift of letting you know exactly what he wants. Only narcissists buy a gift no one asked for just because YOU don't like what he asked for. Come on. |
He should get off his stupid phone and contribute for once. He can make his own clothes. |

They make a male version of The American Girl dolls.
Why not get him one of those ? Boys can play with dolls too, you know. |
| Legos. He asked for Legos. My 13 year old just chose a set for his birthday and wants a set for Christmas. He enjoys them, it’s not in a screen and it’s a nice (but expensive) hobby and prefect for gift giving occasions. There are new sets all the time and if he has a particular set or theme he’s into, he’ll enjoy adding to the collection. |
| The Lego Milky Way Galaxy set is pretty cool. It's $200. |
