I’ve been on it for over a year, and although it made me nauseous at times, this is far worse.
I started Paxil for anxiety a few months ago. Could they be interacting? |
| For me it's always been like that on Ozempic. Before this I never threw up ever. Even when pregnant. |
| I was just thinking- I've been on Zepbound just about 4 weeks, and the first couple of days I was definitely nauseous but then it went away. Today, 3 days after my 4th dose, I almost vomited after one bite of dinner. Not sure what's going on but it's annoying. |
| Did you change your diet? |
| This happened to DH. He had to get off of it after being on it successfully for nine months. He's trying Ozempic now. |
| I was on Wegovy for a year and seeing the box made me want to throw up. I had to stop. |
No, but my diet is not great. I crave carbs and protein makes me nauseated |
| My mom has been on a few different GLP 1 for the past 3 yrs for diabetes and just had to stop altogether bc she gets explosive diarrhea 3 days after the shot now, like clockwork. Tried switching meds and lowering dose, and still having same symptoms. She was symptom free until the last 3 months. |
| Did you talk to your doctor OP? I've been on it for just a few months and it has not made me nauseous at all. |
| Yes, talk to your doctor but you could also call your pharmacy to ask if Paxil and Mounjaro together cause this side effect. |
| Zophram? |
Do you mean Zofran, which is a medication often given to chemo patients? Good lord OP, stop posting on DCUM and ask your doctor, particularly about a very basic question you have about drug interactions. |
| Have your doc check your gallbladder and look for other obvious issues |
|
OP you should ask your doctor about any potential drug interaction, not DCUM.
That said, I was on Zepbound for several months without issue and before getting hit with nausea and associated effects. My diet hadn't changed. I ended up quitting. |
That wasn't OP. I'm OP and obviously haven't had time to message my doctor, but my two doctors both know I am on these meds simultaneously. And I don't see any contraindications noted anywhere when I read up on side effects. That doesn't mean it's not possible though |
