Not me. Our house has three veterans in it. We live in a military town and the restaurants that offer the free meals to veterans always have a two hour long wait.
Lots and lots of people are apparently happy to stand outside the restaurant and wait two hours for that $15 meal. |

| Yes, we did the free donuts at D and D and then did the buy one get one free entrees at chipotle. Both places were super kind, fast service and no long lines to wait. Feels like some of these responses are trying to shame people for their “$15 free meal”. |

I am the poster with the three veterans in my household. I am so sorry if anyone thought I was shaming them. I didn't mean to imply that at all. I would happily take advantage of the various offers if there was not such a long wait time where I live. I don't live in the DC area. I live in Okaloosa county Florida, home of the largest Air Force base in the United States. The population of our county is about 21 percent veterans. |
