Nike fabric pants picking up SO much of green bits from astroturf. Have been using brushes and tape to pick off when come home to not clog washer/dryer with it, but Is there something to spray on clothes to keep from picking it up so much? Something to try to stop it from getting all over? It gets in the side stitching of leggings and just sticking to clothes generally. Ideas? Thanks.
Following. Kid plays soccer on a turf field and shorts, shirt, socks, shoes are always covered in it. Washing removes some but not all, and then I find it on other clothes because the turf winds up in the washer. Ugh.
I run it on a quick cycle with no heat in the dryer first and it all comes off vs sticking to it if the clothes get wet in the washer
Lobby to get rid of turf! It's so bad for the kids.

Our house and cars were filled with turf crumbs during the years I had two kids playing soccer. We felt powerless against this, and just accepted. It’s what you sign on for.
Hats off to the parents who actively fight against artificial fields. |
