| The dryer air plus dropping hormone levels is making my skin dryer and dryer. I add some body oil to my body lotion so I was we wondering what oil I could add to my face cream without clogging my pores. |
|
I wouldn't. Try a richer face cream. Dr Rogers has a thick one I use in winter. Somebody on here yold me about the brand.

| I add a few drops of The Ordinary’s squalene oil to my cetaphil moisturizer. I do it every fall - winter; no issues. |
I was going to suggest the same, except that I’d add The Ordinary’s hyaluronic acid serum to your regular moisturizer. Can’t go wrong with either! |
| Thanks everyone. I do have some squaline oil in my bathroom so I'll try a few drops of that first. I'm sensitive to any cream/lotion with any acids, etc. |
| Vitamin C oil applied to my face first has done wonders. I let it set in for a few minutes before applying makeup. |
| Maybe switch up your cleanser instead? Try something like Albolene and follow with Cerave. |
Can you recommend yours? |
Are we supposed to add it first or second? I’ve been putting it over my moisturizer. I use Cetaphil. |

It's technically for the eye area, but you can use it anywhere. It's very emollient and hydrating, but not greasy. I apply it to my dry areas after I use my regular moisturizer. |
I apply oil first, then moisturizer. I view it as moisturizer locks it in. |
Conventional wisdom is oil always goes last to seal in the moisturizer or other treatments. |
What an odd suggestion!! |
It's great stuff! Try it anywhere that your skin is really dry and thank me later. |
