No CAPE scores after switching schools?

Anonymous
We moved from one DCPS to another this year and still haven’t gotten our fourth graders CAPE scores from last spring. I asked his teacher at the PT conference, but she said she didn’t have them yet. Do I keep bugging the teacher or is there anywhere way to get them? Will they be mailed eventually?

Your previous school received them. You should contact them and ask. Good luck!

They are in Aspen, at least for teachers.

I don’t know what Aspen looks like as a parent. But if you ask your child’s current teacher they can click your child’s name in Aspen and then “Assessments” and tell you your child’s score.

But can you see the score breakdown? My kid's former teacher said they could see the overall score (1-5) but not the underlying data.

None of it is actually helpful, anyway.

No, just overall score number and 1-5 score. But like you said, not much to do with the info anyway beyond curiosity.
