Give me the summary- Middle School Magnet Consortium

Thinking about applying to the Middle School Consortium schools for our 5th grader.

Home school would be SSIMS.

Can anyone share there experience and break it down for me quickly?

Any chance of getting in?

Is busing a pain?

Is it worth the hassle / commute?

Easy to make friends?

Bottom line- is it worth it?

Not many kids in our neighborhood seem to bother applying, so just trying to work out why
