AP stats and Multivar/Linear Alg

Do students take one before the other or both together?

Either both together or take Multivariable first.

Better to take LA first. Hard to understand what the hell the Jacobian is otherwise, which is something that shows up in multi.

DD’s school sequences it as Stats in the Falls and Linear in the spring. Kids doing MV have that in the fall instead.

Eh, MV teaches what the Jacobian is. Basic linear algebra is part of algebra and precalculus.

My DC took it along side Precalc when he was a sophomore.
