Why do shareholders endlessly want the stock price to keep growing? Is it sustainable.
Thousands laid off, great earning results, stock price up and happy talking heads and analysts. In the meantime folks lose their jobs, lose healthcare and life goes on..crazy. |

The worse part are the 5/6 am emails (and I heard in some cases text messages) while you are getting ready to go to work and they heartlessly tell you not to show up.
A lot of people are convinced that our system works and is unsustainable for the next 1000 years. I hope they are right. I am not sure how long we can keep hiding people who are struggling because these people are more and more visible. Remember this though. It's not about what you have done for me yesterday. It's about what you have done for me NOW. If you can't help me now if I have no need for you right now, I will show you the f$&$g door. |

Not only is it not sustainable, it's also usually bad for the company as they cannot focus on quality as to keep shareholders happy, they need to focus on quantity.
