Compost in Fall and Winter

| I have several bags of compost - is there a benefit to spreading it out in the garden beds in Fall or leave them in bags until Spring? |

| You can spread it now. Soil microbes will keep working. |

| Likely to mold over the winter if you keep it in bags, unless you keep those bags dry indoors. |
