Favorite easy, savory Halooween snacks!

Anonymous
Looks like we may be having a few of my kids's friends and their parents stopping by before or after trick or treating tomorrow- I want to offer a few snacks/appetizers. Preferably the savory variety with some substance before the kids crash on all the sugar! Was going to make up some flatbread pizzas and beverages but please help me out with some other suggestions!

Curry chicken skewers w/ peanut sauce, pigs in a blanket, mini sliders, a crockpot of mini meatballs in sweet and sour sauce (or any other kind of sauce, really), deviled eggs... Any high-protein appetizer that will help counterbalance the carbs! And then a cheese & dips tray with lots of fruit and veggies, chips and salsa, etc.

OP is asking for easy appetizers to serve people at a get-together before trick or treating. Vegetable soup doesn’t really fit the bill.
