| Nobody knows why she left. She went on administrative leave in the spring and never came back. |

I'm not sure if there's a technical difference but the letter we got (at her old school) called her an "acting principal." |

I'm confused.
The principal from last year is listed as "HR, Unassigned" in the current MCPS Staff Directory. Is this who is now a 5th grade teacher? The "Acting principal" who took began last year -- is that person still at the school? |

| None of this explains why the "acting principal" is being replaced by a new "acting principal" on Monday. So, former principal (now 5th grade teacher?) is replaced with an "acting principal" and now that person is being replaced too- why?? |
