Advice on Blair CAP application?

| Hi - we will be new MCPS parents of a 9th grader next year. Kiddo currently attends Sandy Spring Friends School in Olney. We went to a presentation on the Blair CAP program last night and they are very interested. Does anyone have pointers about how to put in a successful application? |

I would say….support your child in understanding the program elements, and in self reflecting about who they are, what they want out of an educational experience , etc. Encourage them to make sure they write a draft before hand, and to edit it to make ot better.
