Is the RMIB magnet program good for schools that are not international? Is AP recognized outside of US?

| If my DC wants to go to Ivy league or a similar school, is the RMIB magnet program still good for this? Or is it only good for schools outside of US? Is AP not recognized? Thank you! |

Plenty of RMIB students get into Ivies, but I think it's also because they are super high achieving period, not just because of RMIB.
AP credit is not given abroad, but some schools want to see specific AP exam scores related to your major. No such thing as "undeclared" in most of the foreign unis. |
