Tomato cage for blackberry

Can you use a tomato cage for growing blackberries? I don’t have the space for a typical blackberry support structure.

Sure. They don’t need the support the way a tomato does - they naturally grow up and then over but you can keep them neater that way. There are dwarf varieties that would “fit” in one of the round tomato cages that are only 3’ tall, but mostly you’d need the 6’ square type to support it. You want to use the support to tie the growth into, not to shape it or you’d cut off the fruiting parts.

Make your own cages out of welded wire is better to get sizes and shapes you want.
