We are thinking about a few private sessions for my travel player in the winter to make sure she got all the fundamentals correctly and efficiently, relaxed top hand, quick release, body shielding, scanning habits, etc. any recommendation.

Thanks. I’m thinking before we focus on more advanced stuff, like different dogging strategies, attacking shapes, attacking skills, I want to make sure she mastered all the fundamentals, correct if needed.

You are trying way too hard. Kid is ten.

It's almost comical. Puberty is a huge game changer in sports for both boys and girls.

The parent is simply making sure their child has a solid grasp of the fundamentals, and you respond by shaming them. Advice can be provided without criticism...

Location is needed for good recommendations! Are you in VA, MD or DC?

Thanks for all the advices. We are in Va, we are driving to MD all the time for games and team practices, so we are quite flexible with location, as long as it’s not crazy. And she’s playing midfield/attacking. Like I said, I want to her to have a solid foundation at this stage, I have been looking at MD DC weekly clinics in the winter time, heard toward intermediate level, does anyone have experience with to? Do coaches give a little bit personal attention if she has fundamental issues or needs improvement/correction? Or just repetitions without empathizing correct forms?

I would approach a HS coach in your area and ask for trainers. They will have recommendations. They also know ex-college players that could give lessons.
