Rosemary Hills — good, bad?

Seeking any feedback from current parents or those whose children have recently graduated from RHPS.

I am surprised that the school has no rating on Niche or Great Schools, and that so few online reviews exist for a school that seems quite large, so I’ve come here to get the real scoop.

The practical reason that there is no ranking is that rankings are based on MCAP scores, which are not taken in kindergarten through 2nd grade, which are the only grades at RHES.

There are multiple threads on RHPS on this site. IME most people like the k-2 focus on small kids (although to be sure it’s a large school).

its ok, the draw is the schools it feeds into being the only area in silver spring that doesn't feed the DCC which is a huge draw for many/most. The school its self is packed with kids feeding from older/poorer apartment communities along 16th street and Grubb. The Kids from RHES is why BCC gets to plant the we are diverse flag both racial and economically and Chevy Chase knows it.
