Glad to see a lot of strong testimonies regarding the flaws in the program analysis!

Taylor claims MoCo community is "aligned" on equity LOL
Anonymous
I couldn't tell if he was doubling down on the boundary study and program analysis being connected timeline-wise or expressing a little openness to separating them?
Anonymous
Delays have a cost, but a half-baked proposal that gets passed is costlier.
Anonymous
wow, they want to make Crown a holding school
Anonymous
Whoa, they're considering making Crown a holding school rather than redo boundaries right now.
Anonymous
Well that is what they did with Woodward.
Anonymous
Seems weird to make the brand new school a holding school.

Rita Montoya is ripping into their community engagement efforts. Thank you Ms. Montoya.

Made sense when they did that for Woodward because Northwood also needed expansion.

What HS would use Crown?
Anonymous
Okay at this point, if they're only going to change the boundaries of a handful of schools in 2027, why the heck does the regional program model have to be implemented by then?

If you want to provide feedback, you SHOULD ATTEND your HS's in-person session! Especially if you are URM.

Rivera-Oven is pressing MCPS to schedule in-person sessions for Wheaton and Kennedy, so when/if they get scheduled, please attend and express your concerns.
