At what colleges/universities do most Blair graduates end up?

Blair SMCS students are top feeders to MIT, CMU, UC Berkeley, Cornell, Georgia Tech, JHU, UMich and UIUC traditionally. Typically 70%+ SMCS students will use UMD as their safe schools. That's not going to be the case in the future. For example, none of the 11 MIT offers from the latest graduation class came from a DCC student.

From where did they come then if not from DCC students?

At least 3 class of 25 to MIT.

But it’s a huge school. Kids go all sorts of places.

I meant, reduce applicant pool to 1/6, not cut by 1/6

Any listing of where a given high school's students attend college is reliant on student self-reporting.

If you're considering whether to send your student to Blair based on where recent graduates have gone on to college, please just stay at your home school. The magnet is awesome in itself and Ostrander doesn't focus on where kids go after. Just choose a high school for its own sake.

A large percentage of the magnet students go to UMD.
