Good men are married; single men are broke

I searched men age 30-49 on igotstandardsbro.com, but results are robust to age. You should be willing to date "most" men.

1) Most men are 5'9" or taller.
2) Most are not obese.
3) Most make at least $55k.
4) Almost half (42%) are unmarried.

The problem is that married men earn more than single men. Only 15% of these men are unmarried and earn at least $55k. Only 30% are 5'9" and not obese. Only 4% are left. That does not consider race, religion, politics, distance, baldness, or personal preferences.

There are plenty of tall, fit, rich men in their thirties and forties. They are married, gay, or confirmed bachelors and players. There are good reasons why people are single.

Height seems like an obvious thing to toss overboard. So does “obese,” which comes in a lot of flavors.

Same for women

I know 8 broke single men and women in their 40s who spend more than they make. All make from $70k to $130k and have for decades. What cause them to spend is the turn off and also the reason they are single.

55k is alright if you want a frugal life style. Plenty of people earn more but will have more debt/lower net worth.

I’d also throw out the extreme height requirement, unless you are very tall. Guys can’t control that. Are men who are 5’7” destined to be single forever through no fault of their own? If you subscribe to that theory, then don’t be surprised when those men who are 5’7” are upset by that. Did I marry a man who’s over 5’9”? Yes. But I’m in the 95th percentile for height as a woman, and I was willing to date men two inches shorter than me. I couldn’t do a guy who was 5’. It’s okay to have preferences. But if most people feel entitled to date the upper half of their target population, then there are going to be a lot of unhappy singles. This goes equally for men who only want to date an 8+.

Hey, stop listing baldness as a negative. There are plenty of bald guys getting laid.

This is why I gave up on men. You should too. I’m now dating women. It’s way better.

So men not meeting your standards (because you're so great, right?) somehow triggered your latent homosexuality?

Sounds like you are looking for a "sugar daddy" and a "man ho" more than a "good man".

You gotta lock em down in their 20’s. Even if you don’t marry until 30, you need to have it in the bag before then.
