What are MAP-R scores used for in HS?

| The reason why I ask is because the 9th graders took MAP-R in their English classes at my HS and apparently only 35% of them actually completed the test. They had 2 whole class periods to take the test and they didn't finish it and we do not have the time or the ability to spend more class time on it before the October 10th deadline for completion. I am new to the county so I don't know what will happen to the scores for the 65% of kids that didn't complete the test. Do they basically get no score or do they get a score that reflects that they did not answer as many as 18 of the 40 questions? |

| They won’t receive a score. No repercussions for not completing it. |
