| Interesting- it looks like the former wheaton principal went against the board if education, saying his alcoholism should have been viewed as a disability and he was wrongfully terminated. |
| Where is this info? |
|
Leadership in public education needs a thorough investigation.

| Interesting. I hadn’t heard of any of this until today. I feel like there was such an outcry about another admin with alcoholism and crickets on this one. |
| Looks like he did some bad stuff when he showed up at school intoxicated (sexual harassment, not evacuating a student with medical needs in a timely manner) |
| Another one of McKnight's terrible principal hires. |
| Dr. Munsey should be ashamed of himself. If anything, MCPS took way too long to get rid of him. |
MCPS managed to bury this one somehow. |
+1 |
There was a lot of chatter here about this especially at the time he was demoted and assigned to WJ. |
| He should apply to UMD that is the pass the trash route. They might make a job for him with his glowing resume. |
| The negative part on mcps is that he did a bunch of terrible things at Wheaton but wasnt fired jnitially- just demoted to an AP position-- it was only the outcry from the parents of that subsequent community that get him placed on leave and then fired- shameful. |
| I knew Dr. Munsey when he was at Wheaton and my child was too. I didn’t know a lot of this info so it was well hidden. I can say that he did some things well and connected well with some students. He obviously had had lots of personal and performance issues. Wheaton is a lot to manage since it also includes managing Edison also. That requires a strong admin team. |
Yeah, but after Beidleman, finally seeing MCPS taking this behavior seriously. |
