I normally get my period like clockwork. My last period came 2 weeks late. Now the next period is 2 months late. Is this just how menopause works? I’m almost 43. I’ve taken multiple pregnancy tests, all negative. |
I'm curious too. I've had 3 periods in the past 6-7 weeks. I'm 47 and assuming this is part of peri-menopause. |
I had a 2 week long period then normal for a few months, then 3 months without one. Got tested and that was perimenopause (for me) at age 44. |
What kind of testing did you get? |
yes, but I would test again. |
There comes a point in pregnancy when HCG is too high to be detectable on an at-home pregnancy test, so it's not use testing at 2 months, OP. You need to make an appointment with your GYN, who will rule out medical issues. You will need bloodwork and they will possibly do an ultrasound onsite.
