Seeking recs for makeup artists for mature 52 yr old skin

Anonymous
Like so many women my age, I'm at a loss as to how to do a good makeup look with my aging skin. I've tried watching youtubers and IGers. The reality is, at this point, I now have a couple of hundred dollars sunk into disparate makeup products I bought recommended by these influencers and a pile of "these brushes are soooo great" and ... I don't know how to make any of it work. I've gone to two high end makeup counters and we all know how that goes--they use the products they have regardless of whether it works for you. And also they're generally not good teachers. So I bought a product or two, threw them into my vast pile, and left unsatisfied. I went to sephora and blue mercury and they were nice people who were willing to teach but both times I got very young women who clearly did not understand how to work with wrinkly eyelids, etc. and who also leaned way more into "trends" than a classic office appropriate look.

What I really want? To pay a makeup artist who knows mature skin to look through the pile of products I have, and tell me what to throw out and what works for me. (I don't mean they have to look at every eye shadow, lol). But I've spent so much money recently and I don't really want to start from scratch. THEN, of course, I'm happy to buy any new suggestions of things that are must haves. And I'd be relieved to throw out the stuff that I just never should have bought. And then I want someone to teach me how to do a reliable great daytime / business appropriate look. Why is this so hard??? I would pay top dollar for this. In fact, I have tried to pay top dollar for this. I consulted with a quite famous and expensive person (think: someone who does makeup for someone like Michele Obama) but of course he had zero interest in looking through my makeup bag and helping me pick what's good/right for me. He had his toolkit and that was it. But worse, what I got was an insanely heavy look that would work for a red carpet celebrity who needs camera ready makeup, despite the fact that I repeatedly asked for a reproducible daytime light makeup look for a normal person. I've also tried a few other makeup artists who do wedding makeup. And so, of course, what I get is wedding makeup. Despite what I've asked for. I just need a normal people makeup upglow tutorial. For slightly wrinkled skin, crepey eyes that are starting to hood.

Is there anyone out there?

She does exactly that. You bring your makeup and then she sends recommendations at the end.
