In December are there many delays with the Steamship Authority ferry to/from Martha’s Vineyard?

We have been in March and April along with Summers of course but how is the ferry in December? Are Weather delays common? Does it normally run in snow and ice?

| We go every year around the holidays and have never had issues. I don’t think ice/snow is a big problem but they will cancel for high winds. Not sure if that’s more common in the winter. |
