Recently visited with DC. Beautiful campus.
A lot of premed kids. No committee letter limiting kids applying to med schools, no weed out, yet med school acceptance rate in 60% range. Pretty good. |
Only if you have typical assets. Does Emory consider home equity?
People should be using Net Price Calculators. Advertisements are unnecessary. |
Still would not go there no fun. |
Thank you! |
I assume they were tuition free at $150k and they went to $200k? |
Could you get in, is the real question. Either way if you cant find fun in Atlanta, you're either extremely unattractive or socially inept. |
It was 100k before. |
This is HUGE. I don't know what Emory does specifically but we did not qualify for these types of tuition breaks despite being under the salary cut-off due to our assets and DMV-area home equity. Run the net price calculator!!!! |
So, like many schools, they need their aid brackets to keep up with inflation. It isn't really news, though other schools like to trumpet these adjustments as well. They are trying to increase app volume. |
My DC is there and having tons of fun. Greek life, parties, student activities, Atlanta. Plenty to do. Whoever keeps posting that Emory is no fun, is seriously wrong. |
+1 Same here. The "with typical assets" disqualifies us from FA. |
