| My 50lb rescue hound has a torn ccl (I haven’t been told whether they think full or partial). He is 6 yrs old. He currently walks on it without a noticeable limp, but as the day wears on (and if we walk too far), he limps and holds up that leg while standing. It’s been about 6 weeks since the injury happened when he was doing the zoomies on a sloped yard). So. . . How long do folks think it’s worth waiting to see if he heals on us own? |

| If you want it to heal on its own he needs to be under strict crate rest, leashed potty time in the yard only. If you can’t do that, then it will not heal. |
