D.C. officer charged with DWI, sexual battery after trying to grab Alexandria officer’s gun

A DC cop Trevon King who apparently was driving drunk and caused an accident on Russell road in Alexandria was taken to the hospital where apparently he grouped an Alexandria cop and tried to grabbed their gun. No, I didn't make this up here the news link is below. I'd say this is crazy but it's really mostly just sad.

He has a lic from a different state and didn’t notify them when it got suspended? The DMV doesnt notify employers when suspended anyway. So unless the MPD reruns your license every month how would they know if you don’t tell them. |

I would think there is something in place for situations like this. Or he was just driving around in a cop cruiser with an expired license either way DC needs to make sure this doesn't happen again. |

This would be motivation for DC to run back round checks on all their officers. |
