You need to be careful with the language you’re using. There is a difference between a lockdown and not allowing students out of classrooms. Sometimes there’s a medical emergency. They don’t want other students to see. Students are completely safe, but it’s out of privacy. |

There is currently a police presence at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School for what appears to be a swatting call at the school. @MCPS has not placed the school on lockdown. |
